I've added a slideshow. It's kind of long, but the images show up nicely.

Today I visited Riverbend Antiques in Davenport, Iowa. I'll be uplaoding images this weekend. This store is incredible! I've been going there for the last 30 years, and I'm never bored, and am always amazed at the "new" items owner Ron Bellomy has to offer. So take a look at my photos, and if you are ever in Davenport, Iowa, be sure to stop by Riverbend Antiques. Ask anyone you meet for directions.

I finally got out to do a little bit of shooting over my holiday break from work, so I feel better. I'd like to get out and do some more, but it's a little tricky with the weather. Plus my ambition has to peak at just the right time to get me out the door! Today I went looking for one thing and didn't find it, so I captured a couple images I wasn't expecting at all. So that was kind of fun. So wish me luck, and say hello sometime, if anybody ever reads this blog!

Still getting used to things here at Fine Art America. One thing is the "lingo". I've had some nice comments on some of my work, and people will say, "nice capture" Capture!, like I was tracking the image for days, and just when it thought it had eluded me, I jumped out from hiding, and captured the image. Yeah, I got it. It gave me quite the fight, but I captured it, then I had it mounted, and I'm selling it on Fine Art America!

This is my second blog, and this is more an exercise in using the features of Fine Art America, than a major attempt to communicate. Helllloo out there. I guess, I'm wondering if anyone checks the blog of an obscure photographer such as me. I'm slowly setting up shop here on Fine Art America. The header on this page is a narrow crop from my photograph titled, "Sunset For Mark Twain" I'm still working on uploading images, and I hope to get out and do some shooting this week.

This has been a week of firsts. First, joining Fine Art America, first people viewed my images (118 views), received first comment ( Locust St. Tap ). It was cool to look at the visitor information, as there were people from New York City to Beverly Hills, and Sycamore, Illinois. Denver, Colorado, and Washington D.C. I still haven't sold my first image, That will be exciting, if and when it happens, but I'm in no hurry. My first images are up, and more to come. The "rent" is paid for the next year. All and all, I think Fine Art America is a nice place to do business. Oh, and this is my first blog also!
